I don't think the point of either one needs to be explained here. The only point to make here is the usual difference in the Klingon viewpoint. The humans think of doing things. I am surprised it doesn't say 'trying' instead of doing. But Klingons think in terms of challenge and victory so the thought is, don't expect others to have victories for you, you should conquer your enemies yourself.
